Karinn, the visionary founder of Ember Aesthetics and an independent injector at our Duncansville location, is on a mission to redefine the narrative around aesthetic procedures. Her goal is to make these treatments not only accessible but welcoming to everyone.
Driven by a profound passion for breaking down barriers, Karinn’s favorite treatment is Lower Face Rejuvenation. She appreciates the subtle yet transformative impact it has on her patients, enhancing their natural beauty in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
Always at the forefront of advancements, Karinn is diving into the future of aesthetic treatments with biostimulation. As both an injector and a leader for her team, she actively pursues growth and innovation. Karinn dedicates herself to continuous learning, attending annual in-person training, frequent virtual sessions, and even completing a cadaver course in May of 2023.
A registered nurse since 2016 and a recent Nurse Practitioner graduate, Karinn is excited to elevate the level of care she provides to her patients. Beyond the office, she cherishes time spent at home with her family—a supportive and loving husband, and her two incredible sons, Dax and Holden.

Caroline Adams
Licensed Esthetician, Certified Acne Specialist | Duncansville Location
Caroline Adams is a dedicated Licensed Esthetician and a proud graduate of Altoona Beauty School, class of fall 2023. With a passion for skincare and a commitment to lifelong learning, she actively pursues advanced courses to stay at the forefront of this ever-evolving industry. Caroline is a certified acne expert, specializing in acne and anti-aging treatments. She is a results-driven esthetician, deeply passionate about guiding her clients to achieve the clear, healthy skin they’ve always dreamed of.
Caroline takes a holistic approach to skincare, creating personalized experiences and treatment plans that provide long-lasting results. Outside of the treatment room, she enjoys spending quality time with family, friends, and her cat, Lieutenant Dan. An avid foodie with a special love for Asian cuisine, Caroline also loves hiking with her mom and traveling with her boyfriend whenever she can.
Dr. Duane P. Dilling
D.O. | Medical Director
Dr. Duane P. Dilling, a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, serves as the Medical Director of Ember Aesthetics. With a remarkable career spanning almost four decades in primary care, Dr. Dilling has been a steadfast advocate for comprehensive healthcare, emphasizing the link between physical and mental well-being.
In his role as Medical Director, Dr. Dilling extends his oversight to the operations of the practice. With Dr. Dilling on the team, Ember Aesthetics continues to be a trusted destination for those seeking personalized and exceptional aesthetic care.
