Karinn, the visionary founder of Ember Aesthetics and an independent injector at our Duncansville location, is on a mission to redefine the narrative around aesthetic procedures. Her goal is to make these treatments not only accessible but welcoming to everyone.
Driven by a profound passion for breaking down barriers, Karinn’s favorite treatment is Lower Face Rejuvenation. She appreciates the subtle yet transformative impact it has on her patients, enhancing their natural beauty in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
Always at the forefront of advancements, Karinn is diving into the future of aesthetic treatments with biostimulation. As both an injector and a leader for her team, she actively pursues growth and innovation. Karinn dedicates herself to continuous learning, attending annual in-person training, frequent virtual sessions, and even completing a cadaver course in May of 2023.
A registered nurse since 2016 and a recent Nurse Practitioner graduate, Karinn is excited to elevate the level of care she provides to her patients. Beyond the office, she cherishes time spent at home with her family—a supportive and loving husband, and her two incredible sons, Dax and Holden.

Brandy Bloom

Brandy is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with a passion for enhancing natural beauty and promoting confidence through aesthetic treatments. With a remarkable 17-year background in nursing, her journey has taken her from urgent care settings to the fast-paced environment of emergency rooms. These experiences have not only honed her precision skills but have also laid the foundation for my expertise in the art of injecting.
She took a leap into the world of aesthetics, completing comprehensive training through Injectables EDU. To further refine her craft, Brandy engaged in hands-on clinical hours under the guidance of Karinn Gartmann. This immersive experience has allowed Brandy to blossom into a skilled and compassionate injector, dedicated to bringing out the best in every client.
Brandy’s favorite treatments to perform are sculpting beautiful lips with filler and smoothing away the telltale signs of time in the delicate crow’s feet area. It’s not just about enhancing appearance; it’s about instilling confidence and helping clients embrace their unique beauty.
When she is not in the office, you’ll find Brandy unwinding by the poolside, enjoying the sunshine with her loyal 4-legged pal, Brutus, or getting in a round of golf.

Caroline Adams
Esthetician | Duncansville Location
Caroline Adams graduated from the Altoona Beauty School in the fall of 2023 and is now a licensed esthetician, electrologist, and lash technician. Her favorite services include lashing and facials, which she enjoys customizing for each client, and she specializes in full-body waxing. From brows to Brazilians, she’s your go-to professional.
Caroline’s passion for the beauty industry and esthetics began at a young age when she would practice makeup techniques on her sisters, apply lashes for her friends, and host “spa nights” for her mother, complete with face masks and relaxing music. Turning her love for beauty into a career has been her most significant achievement so far. She takes pride in sharing her knowledge and skills to help clients reach their skincare goals, understand that their concerns are normal, and feel confident and beautiful.
Outside of work, Caroline enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as her cat, Lieutenant Dan. She loves hiking with her mother, traveling to fascinating places with her partner, and sampling international cuisines—her favorite being Indomie, an Indonesian noodle dish.
Her goals include expanding her clientele, mastering the latest techniques, and building strong connections with everyone who walks through the door. She is committed to helping clients achieve their best selves.
Dr. Duane P. Dilling
D.O. | Medical Director
Dr. Duane P. Dilling, a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, serves as the Medical Director of Ember Aesthetics. With a remarkable career spanning almost four decades in primary care, Dr. Dilling has been a steadfast advocate for comprehensive healthcare, emphasizing the link between physical and mental well-being.
In his role as Medical Director, Dr. Dilling extends his oversight to the operations of the practice. With Dr. Dilling on the team, Ember Aesthetics continues to be a trusted destination for those seeking personalized and exceptional aesthetic care.
